Meet Your Architect

I am Helen Kopits Hiser. I've been president of Hiser + Kopits Hiser Architects for over thirty years. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland.

I've been a licensed, practicing architect in Maryland since 1990. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the St. Francis Neighborhood Center in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City and on the Facilities and Maintenance committee of Prospect Hill Cemetery in Towson.

Volunteerism is an integral part of my life, and I bring the same level of professionalism, imagination, and personal integrity to my volunteer projects as I do to my business. This includes providing advice during a nonprofit's capital campaign or facility renovation or using recycled materials to create decorations for fundraising events.

Simply put, the philosophy of our firm is one of service, to our clients as well as to the surrounding community.
